For Bean it's this season. For Laine it's two full seasons. It's not like CBJ is making the playoffs in next few seasons.

I worry about Laine's injury problem. I believe he is made out of glass. I always thought seeing Laine with Rantanen might be interesting. Avs giving a first no way.

Still don’t see the value here for either side. Injury risk for Laine, Girard has only played half this season as well. Essentially he is like a less explosive Boqvist but more expensive. Bean is a good value add but the rest just doesn’t make sense to me.
