No. EDM will just buy Campbell out at year's end.

This is completely one sided trade easy no for Edmonton.

We don’t want ur cap dump goalie we have our own that will be bought out by the end of this season.

Very unlikely Holloway gets traded at this point.

Edmonton will counter with a 2nd just for Monahan take it or move on find someone else

I hate it for Edmonton lol would rather keep all those assets and buy out Campbell and immediately open up 3.9M in cap space those assets can be moved for better pieces and even then it would be better to just keep them then trade them for this ridiculously one sided package

Yeah it definitely doesn’t make sense to spend all the assets to dump him when you can just buy him out

Eh Edmonton passes, im not as harsh on this as other Oiler fans will be but it's just smarter to buyout Campbell at the end of the year. Holloway is finally starting to show something as the 3C so to not only move him but take his spot away is a bad idea. Allen isn't very good for his cap hit but would be a big upgrade over Pickard, Broberg and Lavoie are worth essentially nothing at this stage and the 24'1st I'd rather use on a top 4 RD

Agree with mostly everything here but you say big upgrade? With the way pickard is playing right now this would be considered a minor upgrade imo

D-core has a large part in goaltending performance, Pickard has been serviceable but has seemed to be great due to Edmontons fantastic defensive performance right now (best in the league wink )

Allen is stuck behind Matheson and Barron all year (poor guy.)

Allen also isn’t worth 3.8M a year imo that’s a pretty big cap hit for a minor upgrade I just don’t think it’s really worth it

Oh yeah fs like I said his cap hit is one million percent not worth it, a guy like James Reimer who is just as good would cost way less as a rental and has a much smaller cap hit. We don't need an answer this TDL just a placeholder until the offseason, Skinner is our starter that's all that matters

Easy no from Oil. Move along Habs, find another sucker for Monahan who’s value is inflated with PP1 time and for Allen who can’t even be a 3rd string goalie on a bottom feeder.
