If I was Dubas, I would accept the draft picks and Podkolzin, but not Kuzmenko.
Kuzmenko's value is low and his playing for another team is pointless.

Don't like either trade to many futures to give away for rentals

Well for the deal to go through Myers or Kuzmenko would have to go the other way and if Tanev is costing that much Van should wait and try and sign him in the off season. I could see Johansson or Woo as the prospect not Brzustewicz. Also for both would need retention on Guentzel to fit in with the cap.

I'd rather see Myers get dealt so that Vancouver can get Tanev and he can replace his spot.

Definitely close on trade value but i'd prefer all prospects/picks/under-24 players on the cusp instead of Kuzmenko and i don't see VAN wanting to move Kuzmenko. i'd rather retain 50% on Jake and with double retention Jake would be at $1.5M.
that being said, if i'm dubas and pittsburgh, then i would take Kuz and let him play with Sid/Geno and PP1 then flip him in the offseason or next year at the TDL... so i'm ok with either... i just don't see keeping jake at this point... the pens have lost like 7 of 10 and barring extreme improvements in several areas i don't see this team making the playoffs unfortunately...

It makes sense if Dubas accepts Canuck's first round pick and a prospect.
