Canes aren’t doing that. Not trading Kochetkov for a single year of Saros.

Preds doesn't need Kochetkov. You could trade (dump) Teuvo instead of Kochetkov. Add another first and Raanta. Then you have a great goaltending and capspace to get goal scorer.

Considering how good Turbo has been, especially in the goal scoring department this year, I think not. Again, Canes aren’t going to make a move for expensive rentals, and with the personnel they need to resign in this off season and next, having Saros for a single year isn’t worth it.

Maybe so but with this roster it's going to be a short playoff run for canes. Like last year they we're good against panthers but at the end FLA had better goaltending and better top lines. And don't get me wrong as a Fin I'm a fan of canes but I don't believe they have what it takes for the cup.
