Description
Is Poulin ready to be called-up? Should Puljujärvi be signed to the NHL roster? Where would you put them in the lineup if/when Dubas deems so?

St. Ivany has been doing well recently, does he deserve some NHL spotlight?

White and Harkins would go on waivers.

While I certainly agree that White doesn’t have a place on the NHL roster, I disagree with waiving Harkins. Being that Acciari has average foot speed and Carter has stone skates, the left shot Harkins’ speed is very important to that 4th line being remotely disruptive. I’m not saying he should be an every night sure start once everyone is healthy, but I think he has some relative value on the big club.

I’d like to see what Puljujarvi or Poulin can bring to the table. Mainly Puljujarvi, considering his history as a pretty disruptive player. I wouldn’t expect anything above a bottom 6 skillset out of him though. It’s nice to see that Poulin is finally getting comfortable in WBS, maybe we should just let that remain the case for the majority of this year for the sake of his long term potential? Letting him dictate play at that level for a full year could prove beneficial, rather than thrusting him into the NHL pace. Who’s to say.

I don’t think it’s smart to put two questionable players on Geno’s wing. At this point in his career Geno is honestly a bit of a defensive liability, so I think he needs the support at wing to produce at his best. I’m still not sure why Puustinen was moved off of his wing. They were meshing very well together and creating offensively off of one another. Nothing has been more frustrating than seeing White hack away at the puck on Genos wing. Just put Rakell or Puustinen up there for crying out loud lol.

I'm in favor of Poulin on the wing of Malkin but put them with Rust and move Puljujarvi on Crosby's wing. Then make the 3rd line DOC - Eller - Rakell and the 4th line Puustinen - Acciari- Carter.

Carter has been better as of late.

Just my theory, and I may have posted it in an ACGM here recently.

I think Puljujarvi doesn't see the NHL this season. Maybe the last 5-10 games, but double hip surgery in the off-season is a major major surgery.

Think KB and Co's hope is that they get him in house and see how he recovers and where is game is at in the AHL and if it's all positive then sign him in the summer to a pro contract.

He's only 25 and 4th overall pick, if things work out and they can get him on a low 1 year deal next season that would be a huge win for the team.
