Does CGY want a prospect and a player named Hoglander, Garland, or Myers?
I'm just throwing them out as suggestions.

Noah Hanifin isn't waiving for a team that's likely heading for Salt Lake City.

And Lindholm is looking at around 8 x $9,000,000 he's not signing for 8 x $7,900,000 in Winnipeg.

His injury issues have scared off teams to an extent, and I doubt vancouver wants to mess with their lineup by moving anyone.

I doubt Hanafin would continue to be linked to the coyotes for months on end if he wouldn't sign there. And yeah maybe Lindholm might want more money but he doesn't care where he goes as long as they're good.

Hoglander 100%, but I think we'd need to give up more than Tanev for him.

Do you assume CGY would trade Tanev, Lindholm, and a draft pick to VCR in return for Hoglander and a couple of VCR's draft picks?

I could see Tanev and Lindholm (both 50% retained and maybe Lindholm extension) for Hoglander, Myers and 2 firsts

For me, Barlow is only available if Lindholm comes retained, extended, and with Tanev retained..…though most would consider him unavailable also

i like lindholm but at 29yo he aint getting 8 x 9 - he is solid but 2 years ago 82pts then 64 now on 54 pace- 9m at 37yo cant see it.

CAL doesnt have that much say in it. if either/both say they arent going to resign not getting 1st for a rental. for one not that many contenders have that much cap space and no bubble or lower going to pay for rental.
