I had a similar trade proposal a few days ago with McConnell-Barker instead of Sykora and was told I was dreaming, Gorton/NYR feud aside it seems like a good match. My thinking is that once Elias is off the table there's likely going to be a race to the next best center available considering we're in a seller market year. A future protected 1st (Likely health and/or position protected) and a prospect should close the deal. I'd give the option of sending either one of these three; McConnell-Barker, Sykora and Berard.
As a MTL fan I'd love if they could put their egos aside and make hockey trades but we'll see.

Yes hence why Henrique would make more sense than Monahan who is a better 5v5 player.

Henrique has 4 more even strength points but Monahan brings more offensive upside as a player

6 more points on a worse team. Henrique is also a better defensive player and I don't think the cost to acquire would be as high.
