As a fan of NYR first and also CGY, I don't necessarily hate it. I think Bellmare is unnecessary, would rather Maroon. Minor details on that front.

I think Mang for Kakko is pretty fair 1 for 1, I guess it depends how much CGY values the retention. I think the 2nd pick is fair, though

Maroon is a fair point I was just looking for a faceoff winning defensive center but would be totally fine with brodzinski/goodrow at 4C and Maroon as 4LW

I haven't seen anything about Mangiapane but I have to imagine hes not untouchable while they sell of this deadline

I think one thing that really helps this trade is the fact they didn't have to retain on Lindholm. So they can retain on Hanifin, Tanev, and then Mang here. If they had to retain on Lindholm, that probably blows this up
