Additional Details:

Apparently Treliving wanted Zadorov in the off-season and again when Z asked for a trade, maybe now they land him if Vancouver is thinking of moving him for capspace like Friedman says

Does Vancouver need another forward or are they do they think Zadorov isn't the right Dman they need and are looking for a different guy? Why is there a rumor they want to move him for capspace?

Vancouver get a 3rd and 5th back for Zadorov, so they technically lose nothing

The 3rd is to take on Samsonov's contract but, it won't be Vancouver, it will be the Hawks, SJS, etc really any team that is willing to take him for the pick. He could play or get buried but he doesn't stay in Vancouver

Canucks pass Big Z is a great fit for us for the playoffs.That rumour he is available was squashed yesterday by his agent and our GM.just saying.

That doesn't really make up for the entire year so far and if TO want to acquire 1 or more good players his contract is most likely to move IMO

Our GM yesterday squashed it.So did Rick Dhaliwal from the Athletic So did his agent.Might wanna read up on it.

Vancouver isn't really saving any cap here at all unless we send samsonov to the ahl which at that point make sense to just have dead cap in the AHL, Vancouver has been really happy with Zadorov and aren't moving him both Canucks insider Rick Dhaliwal and Zadorovs agent Dan Milsten have both confirmed that
