lol are you serious? Take out the first and it still isn't close. Fabian Lysell doesn't get moved for depth. Thats more of a strome conversation. Want a 3rd and a 4th for dowd? sure.

Lysell is a reach, I’ll give you that. But every insider out there is predicting that WSH gets a late first for Dowd. He’s the type of player that can win you a series, and carries an extremely team friendly cap hit.

who are these insiders? I haven't heard anything about that, because frankly its bonkers.

Lysell and a first is considerably more than a stretch, particularly with Lysell being the most valuable asset in the trade. It would be a stretch in the same sense of the bruins calling up washington and saying, "we'll give you a 4th rounder in 2029 for your 1st rounder in 2024." it's just so far outside of a real world concept.
