Description
Novikov isn't permanent, but he has adjusted very well and would like him to get atleast a taste of NHL Hockey. Learning experiences he can work on for Camp next year. Also would like to see what Kozak could bring. Need to start looking at if these players fit long termxor if they are assets for other pieces.

Novikov could be the real deal.
Very impressive the 3 on 3 and prospect challenge.
After the TDL the roster size is only limited by the cap.
Give him a tryout for a few games.

No reason to add McCarthy and the 3rd. I would keep McCarthy and watch him develop into what should have been Borgen.

No thanks. Korczak is poised to take a full-time role next year. Would need to have someone more impactful than Krebs coming back to move him (you have excess goods of young forwards you can spare one)

Sure Mitts is probably a better fit than any of the younger guys. I just see the Knights as a team that only trades up (unless it's a cap dump lol) and that fits more of what they'd want

I would do that trade if you guys accepted. You guys could probably extend him to with who you have coming of your books. He would be really good there with the players he would be working with. Guy has turned into a very good C and can bounce around the lineup if need be for injuries.

No way man, that's a terrible deal. Mitts is one of our better players while Korzcak is ok but not exactly what we need. We need a vet RD not another youngster

Well can't you add a vet with the Sabres 1st and or Vegas's 1st

OK, I just traded for Jacob Trouba. Does that meet the Vet requirement, and we still have our 1st and Vegas's 1st

Not interested in trading Mitts. If he’s completely unreasonable I can understand a move but otherwise I’d just keep him.

That's fine, cause I would like to keep him to. But you can't sign everyone and the Sabres haven't even talked with him still.
