Hmm. For starters, I would not choose a guy who is a winger now as my 1C, especially when there are an array of genuine 1Cs who make less than him. For allll the chance creation Barzal's line does, somehow the guy is barely above break even on his goal share. A ton of flash, but often no result to it.

Also do not think Cat and Kap are worth their AAVs to the point that you should scrimp and save so hard to fill out half the lineup. Maybe Kap, definitely not Cat. Too one dimensional. Overall, your forward crew is not the most defensively responsible/successful bunch.

The D core is excellent defensively, but overall a little wooden with the puck. And " a little " is probably polite. You need another puck mover/PP guy in their somewhere.

Finally, I'd surely not trust Samsonov as the #1.

Thanks for tha analysis. I actually really agree with you about Kap and cat, especially cat. As well as the lacking defensive play of the forward group.

I Can agree about Barzal too, but I like his speed and flash, but couldn't justify him over others on the right wing.

I chose Samsonov b/c he is having a bit more of a hot streak lately, but ultimately the goalie choices were/are samsanov, vladar, Thompson, Ingram...so, I don't know if there is anyone other than Thompson that excites.
