I do think Faksa with salary retained has positive value. I do think he has value as a player and would fill a need in Vancouver. That said, I don’t see anybody giving a second round pick for him. Say Vancouver more realistically offered a fourth round pick… I think Dallas would rather move him in a deal for a defenseman unloading his full salary for a little bit of negative value. Or keep him for his defensive ability and clear cap elsewhere. The owners also dislike each other so there’s that as well
