Calgary probably accepts that. Then again with the recent waiver claim of Brayden Pachal who looked good in the Boston game they might want something else besides Timmons. Pachal brought some much needed grit, led the Flames in hits with I think it was 6 hits in the game.

Meh most of this doesn't happen.

The reason I targeted Keller was his contract. His NTC kicks in July first and he is owed more real money than his cap hit. Yotes could be interested in moving him. Getting a young local boy and a first that could be in the teens. It does still feel a bit light.

Timmins is more of a puck mover. Not sure that they have the right partner for him in the left. But he is signed through next season and gives them a good 3rd pair option at minimum.

Both Timmins and Minten are players they can use in the roster next year which I know the flames are looking for. They want to get back at it right away.

If Arizona is on his 10 team he can be moved somewhere else.

I agree completely, in fact I suggested the exact the same trade more than once. But that was before the Pachal pickup. One game is a very small sample size but Pachal looks like a great fit so far. I believe he'll complement Kylington a lot better than Timmons would too.

Kylington = speed and puck skills
Pachal = plenty of grit, hits and tough to play against
