Washington have enough cap problems without Staal. And to the Leafs you sent one marginal NHLer (Holden) for a 30 goal scorer with on a 5 year good contract.

Kadri is slated as their 2C for years to come and has matured past his issues. I wish KAdri would be a NYR but TOR would never trade him away and 1st round picks are great but the NYR arent a bad team and those 1st round picks will be likley in the 20s thus no studs and 30 goal scorers, especially at Center are hard to find. Staal is stuck in NYR and then buyout next year. AND if we trade holden now, then we get Stall and ONLY Staal all year and Deangelo hasnt played a fill season yet, he may not be able to thus making Holden more valuable, and still better than Staal
