I mean he's a high-end 2nd line center on pace for 56 points this year and had 64 last year. He shouldn't be considered a pt per game 1st line center anymore, like he was 2 years ago with Gaudreau and Tkachuk

No one said anything about him being a P/GP center. His production the last 3 years is similar to Mark Scheifele. Scheifele just signed a 7yr/$8.5 million deal. Kadri is another guy who is numbers are similar to and Kadri last year signed a 7yr/$7 million deal. To say Lindholm is only worth $6.5 million on a 5yr deal with the cap increasing significantly next year is just odd.
