Leafs aren’t paying anything for Hanifin who will not resign in Canada how do people not understand that, and leafs aren’t trading lily at least for another 2 years and then they add to get pulock

It's an outdated rumour IMO for a couple of reasons. If this is the case, why did Hanifin almost agree upon an extension with Calgary? Also, players sometimes have Toronto/Vancouver as an exception for teams in Canada they'd be willing to go to (ex McCabe). Hanifin has said in the past it would be an "honour" to play in Toronto and the GM he signed two deals with is here. If the Leafs were able to put together a solid package, I think Hanifin would be willing to re-sign.

Keefe and the Maple Leafs are clearly getting a bit impatient with LIljergren, and with this move there wouldn't be a suitable role for him on this roster and would likely be scratched anyway.

I don't think they will land Hanifin, but if they do IMO they can definetly get him signed

Never gonna happen Hanifin is close to resigning with the flames anyways lol probably doesn’t even get sold

not moving the 34th overall for Lilligren
