Why would you pay this much to dump Goodrow when his buyout is very optimal.

Are they really paying anything? Rumor has it that Drury wants a first rounder for kakko and in this case he gets it and gets rid of the Goodrow contract.

You’re opening $5.8M and getting a first-round pick for a ghost and cone. Drury can do a lot with that.

This is next year lol. They’ll bring back Kakko 1 year cheap, goodrow buy-out opens $3.6m and they’ll probably sign a $2m RW like Sprong or whoever

That won’t change how good the team is it all. Doing this trade gives us cap and a premium draft asset to IMPROVE the team and not just find a quick fix for $2M.

Ironically, Pavel Buchnevich’s $5.8M cap hit.

The whole organization should be fired if they pay all those assets to re-acquire him

Should’ve been fired for doing it in the first place. Set this team back years.

It is what it is lol us fans need to move onto the present. Cant stand when fans want to trade a lot of assets to bring back Vatrano, Buchy, Tarasenko, etc.

I agree though. I don’t want Tarasenko or Kane back. Buch was a player we never should’ve let go though and would solidify the forward core so I wouldn’t mind him back.
