Isles

If we can't move him for something reasonable, we will send him to the minors for his final year. There is absolutely no reason to give up prime draft capital for something like this were we control where he can go.</div></div>
If Monahan required a 1st so will Bailey, it's a different story if YOU don't want to, but this will be the cost if LOU wants to make other moves.

It's going to cost you a 2nd rounder plus just to get rid of Mantha, Eddy is a solid 2nd pair guy who has been apart of several cup runs and a stanley cup, how do you figure this is bad when Edmondson himself will likely cost a 2nd?

HIstory shows that this is an overpay.
Both 1sts for their 1st and a late pick should do it

I'm not saying you would do this, Mike Grier is the GM, this is a guess as to something that I believe COULD happen.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rob32sjsharks</b></div><div>Well using Logic why would the sharks spend almost 5 mil of cap space next year on a goalie who isn’t much better than the two they have just so they can help Toronto out of cap issues with the return being to move up 5/6 spots at the back end of the 1st round of this draft?
I get why Toronto would do this but why would San Jose?</div></div>
To move up 10 or so spots..

The Murphy ask is going to be a first adn probably even need a small add. The only thing that makes any sense between Buffalo and Chicago for Murphy is a first round pick (pick whatever year you would like) or Isak Rosen. The Hawks already have plenty of 2nd/3rd round picks upcoming and will have no problems using cap space to add plenty more. They are going to be looking for assets that have a much higher liklihood of actually hitting.</div></div>

he's having a worse year this year than last year when he was not qualifyed, there's not a whole lot of teams with money to spend I highly doubt Pius gets paid

Completely different situation my friend. One has played 30 games the other is going on to his 4th season. If you think the values off that’s fine but these situations are nowhere near similar.

Jesse Poolparty trade
The people claiming Eddy won't get a 1st are delusional, and also the same fans that said Chiarot wouldn't get that for all the same reasons. It's quite simple, the actual experts are the one's reporting Eddy will bring back "at least a 1st" this isn't a narrative that some random hab fan started, deal with it.
In regards to the proposal, it's been widely reported that the Oilers are having a hard time moving Puljujarvi and he could probably be had for a mid round pick, so this proposal isn't crazy, I'd say the Oilers were do that, espeically if the habs eat a little money to help the oilers open cap space

Have you not been following whats going on at all? Credible sources reporting interest has been STRONG in Andy since last year because players like him are hard to find. I don't understand people who DO NOT watch him night in night out saying he's a bad contract lol. he's a big, fast, mean player who is going to hit 20 goals again. This is why Habs fans are split on keeping him
