Necas > Caufield. I've had this debate a thousand times. Necas' counting stats dominate, he's better as a skater, better defensively, and he's 6'2 where Caufield is 5'10.

For Matheson to play 3LD for the duration of his contract, it’s not worth it. Next year he would be behind Slavin and Orlov, and then scratched when Nikishin comes over.

No not a chance given the Hurricane's depth at LD... We would need a scorer in return... Suzuki or Caufield are about the only ones who qualify on the Habs
