I really like Tanev and was one of my top targets this year. Now we have no room for him so we pass.

The Devils should 100% take that, I’m a big fan of Zadorov’s game and think he would be a big asset for this Devils team.
Thinking Zadorov could slot in as 2LHD playing with Marino and let Bahl - Hughes be the 3rd pair.
For the trade to work Calgary would probably have to take one of Smith or Miller back so that Zadorov fits under the cap (unless Flames retain salary).

Rather Carrier or FAbbro over Zad. where the devils dont have the cap room for Zad unless the flame take smith back. Since everything is about analytics, Zad is not good. he is ranks 5th on his own tean for Advance stats for Dman.
