not sure why the rebuilding Flyers would be trading a 1st round pick. That's not a knock on Mittelstadt; just that it doesn't jive with what Briere is doing in Philly

As a buffalo fan I can’t say no fast enough. Buffalo gets absolutely no value here. A fourth line winger with a one year deal, a UFA left-handed defender (The last thing they need is more lefty defensemen), a very late first rounder, and a fifth rounder. Meanwhile, Philly gets a top six forward with team control for a pile of that? Yeah, no.
