The Isles could make the playoffs or they could miss it. I think they'll either just fall out or just make it. But that pick is questionable, and they don't know how good it will be, so i don't think thy should move it. But for LA, that's a good package they're getting, but they shouldn't move Carter if you ask me, unless they're getting a top prospect like Barzal, which the Isles likely won't do.

If I were an Islanders fan I'd have a hard time trading Nelson and a first rounder essentially for an aging Carter
