The team looks great, the signings are good (Reinhart probably gets about 10 though, you could probably make a little bit of room by adjusting CMcM to be a tiny bit lower), and most of the trades look pretty fair. Only thing that concerns me is that Buffalo might even want a bit more for Mittelstadt, which I wouldn’t be opposed to giving for him. He’s a great player and fits the window the caps are aiming for. Some of the returns might need to be slightly adjusted, but this is a really good team.

Lapierre / Alexeyev don't do much for BUF + they are not looking for futures. Would need more value and different value IMO

Thanks totally agree on this team. I updated Reinhart to 7x9.5m (from 7x8.5m).

Definitely agree that McM will be slightly lower. I would also be happy to add to the BUF trade....I think he would 100% be great for the Caps.

Yeah makes sense...Not too sure on BUF needs so figured I'd give it a shot.

Lap (to me) is projected to be a 3c (would play consistently for the Caps next season if he stayed). Alexeyev should play consistently as a bottom pairing. I'd be happy to add another pick, but as you stated, futures aren't really something BUF is looking for...so not sure how it gets done

Iorio would be of more interest. Even then, he's not proven enough. Lapierre is of no need
