Try 7 x $8,000,000 for Elias Lindholm and 5 x $5,500,000 for Matt Roy Neither are signing those pathetic contracts.

YES!! That 6th round pick in 2025 is a shoe-in for the Hart Trophy in 2031.

If you can sign those players for those amounts, you should be the GM of the Canucks.

Absolutely. They have a couple guys they need to resign like Vlasic who should get decent raises. Additionally, if you review past threads on this site you will notice there are quite a few fan bases proposing to dump their overpaid, under performing dead weight on the Hawks (Campbell Ceci, Smith, Johansen, Goodrow, Mikheyev, Sheary, Kampf, Reaves etc.), With so many options available, Davidson will be able to stand his ground and take the best offer. I highly doubt flipping an early 6th round pick for a late 4th round pick for taking two years of Mikheyev at $4.75m per will be the best offer presented to Davidson.

Chicago also has the option of overpaying on short term deals in FA.
