Seems pretty fair value wise.

Way too much $ for AB though, especially for that term.

This would be a summer trade, As Tomas Hertl is more than likely out for the rest of the season. He hasn't even had his knee surgery yet and will miss several weeks.

yeah, that’s why it’s listed as the 24-25 season

Per Quinn, Hertl had his surgery yesterday 2/14. Depending on what "several weeks" ends up being he could conceivably play before the trade deadline, but yeah probably ends up being after March 8th if at all this season.

Next year, Bruins have 12 contracts signed and 27.7mil in space. With Hertl, that'd be 13 signed and 19.6mil. Major contracts needed are DeBrusk or equivalent, Grizzlick, and Swayman, or whatever is gonna happen there between him and Ullmark. But they're looking at ~10 contracts at an average of 1.9mil apiece. That's tough. I wonder if you would take DeBrusk and add Zetterlund to the trade or something like that to help out their potential cap problems.

On the flip side though, BOS are still dominating even with nobody at center. So I'm not sure they really have much motivation to do this
