Our coach LOVES Greenway- they go way back
He’s also playing well defensively & provides toughness we otherwise lack

Plus,
Mikheyev has a bigger Cap hit, which would not interest us

Sabres are still not trading Greenway. They currently playing him in the top 6. He's also not UFA. This trade solely benefits Vancouver, Buffalo isn't taking on cap dumps, especially for free

Mikheyev is a cap dump as much as Greenway is.
