Good to know he is doing great this season, I knew his stats were good but didnt know he had that much success.

Goalies are weird and sometime can go off in a contract year just to regress back the season after. If buffalo feels like his play isnt sustainable or they dont see him as the long term solution, they could sell high on him. If I remember right, last season there were already rumors him being shopped around.


He’s been very good and had very good moments last year, just couldn’t find consistency. This year he only had like a 4/5 bad game stretch right after a bout with the flu and losing 10 lbs. before and after he’s been excellent. Double hip surgery early in his career stunted his growth but he’s finally showing why he was once the top goalie prospect in his draft class. I think those rumblings were overblown, or people who (wrongly) assumed Levi would do something no rookie goalie has done like ever and come in and start 50+ games. Buf best course of action will be to tandem them up for a couple of years, and shore up the defensive side of the puck. Like you said they have the skill, they just need to fill in the cracks.
