Avs seemingly like to take chances on former first round picks. They hit with Chooch. They have also tried with guys like: grigorenko, yakupov, Tufte. Maybe they'll take on another one

Waiver Claim. The Avs have not had a consistent 4th line all year. They seem to have given up on Oloffson as 4C. He's gotten less than 10 minutes of ice time the last 3 games. Even getting moved to wing in favour of Wagner against the Canucks.

Colin White is goose eggs in the NHL this season. And watching him with the Panthers last year, he wasn't shown to be a very fast skater. I think the avs will pass

Ah dang I didn't know about his skating. As we've seen with RyJo. We need guys that can keep up. Oh well. Was worth a shot.

You can have him. He’s not close to who he was last year when he benefited from being on that deep Florida team. He’d be a serviceable 13th or 14th forward, but don’t expect anything more than that.

Send us a pick for Nieto. He can actually bring something of substance to a 4th line and penalty kill.

Soft guys are the reason for CMac's motto this season: Harder To Play Against. Wagner is that guy. Colton is that guy. Wood is that guy. Neither White nor Nieto are that guy.

Avs are getting Nik Kovalenko to be that guy. The only things they really need are a decent C & backup goalie
