This is incredibly interesting as NSH would probably seek 2 firsts minimum if they were to give up Saros. Does NSH say no? They'll probably ask for another asset as an incentive to retain Saros' contract for the remaining years. Or does TOR say no to this as well - jeopardizing their future in the hopes of a strong Stanley Cup push? Side note; as much as I love Schenn, he's no longer as good as he was during his last years in Vancouver.

Leafs imo aren't trading for a goalie with Woll and Hildeby as the future. It just is a waste of draft picks for no reason.

While I agree, the only thing truly consistent in Woll's pro career so far is injuries.

I think they'll either go all in on a star goalie or all in on a defense. Samsonov/Woll could be okay behind a better defense, Sarros would be just okay behind the present defense
