Description

This team needs a major shakeup. IMO, the easy move is firing Lindy Ruff because he’s constantly mishandled this roster. Fitzgerald has also sat on his hands all year watching the Devils lose games due to goaltending and done nothing about it. Unfortunately, Ruff will likely not be fired and Fitzgerald will likely wait too long to make a move. Starting tomorrow, this lineup needs a complete shakeup. Hughes & Bratt need to be reunited and Hischier & Meier need to be reunited. We cannot keep burying Meier on the 3rd line next to Lazar. I love Lazar and he’s had a great year, but he’s a 4th liner at the end of the day. Bastian will be hurt and I don’t want Chris Tierney just hopping in. Stillman would be the perfect call up rn imo because of his aggressiveness. Luke also needs a mental reset this weekend; he’s going through the worst stretch of his season. Daws has now been worked into the ground and looks completely lost in net so we’re forced to turn to Poulter in his NHL debut

It could be. Nosek has been hard to watch this last stretch of games. I also doubt that Bastian will play tm considering he left the game after 2 big hits

It just seems like the random tinkering type of move we have seen to shake things up (and doesn't really)
