Description

I broke up the Calgary trade but its pretty much...
2cd and 5th for Tanev retained at 50% which sways a bit towards Toronto

Greer and Pysyk for Kokonnen and Gregor which sways a bit towards Calgary

I actually think Robertson (and I am not a huge fan) could play and score in the Pens top 6...THEY NEED GOALS! Abruzzesse is a long shot but Dubas likes him. and
Pens prolly get picks their way in other trades.

I am open to updating this based on feedback.

My guess is they waive Reaves as a favor to him to see if he gets picked up and he doesn't which is fine...I think he should play some games for the Marlies to stay in game shape vs back to the press box.

JUST WANNA ADD ONE THING FOR MY CALGARY FAN FRIENDS...I actually wouldn't sell if I am them...go for it!

I think a 3rd & either a 4th or depth player like Harkins would be fair for the Pens trade.

TOR can have Abruzzese, and they’d be pretty lucky to even get a 3rd for Robertson at this point in the game.

Ya I don't disagree for sure...not sure how they make this work but of course Toronto would want the 2cd...Dubas would prolly want Minten somehow, he would be a great kid to learn from Crosby!

I wont argue that but really the Pens need goals...and I dunno I think Robertson can give them 25ish maybe more with a Malkin or Crosby. As I say in the intro this is not to oversell Robertson...but I actually think he can be a bargain piece for them...and Dubas needs a win?

This is NOT a Leaf fan trying to fleece Calgary...read my intro if you want the deets...if it takes more then so be it...if the Leafs get the 2cd from the Pens they may give up the 1st for Tanev retained and then use the 5th or a 3rd for another team to further retain...or keep...etc...not on here to argue the details and prove I am some hockey genius, although I am....this is as I say just an idea of what I would try and do...

With the Pens having no 1st or 3rd this year, the deal on your end would have to be sweetened a bit. Abruzzese is really not much, so if you can upgrade to someone like Minten? Then sure. It's a weird situation where our 2nd this year is more valuable to us because of how little we pick this year, so it would need to be a really good deal.
