Take out Holl and add in a Joe Veleno and you probably have a deal however, I just don't see Detroit being the team pulling the trigger on a Guentzel trade

That was just a hypothetical deal from Elliotte Friedman, He thinks that Jake Guentzel would be the perfect player for Detroit. We don't have between 7x8.5 or 7x9.0 to re-sign him Raymond and Seider alone with the Rasmussen contract is going to eat half of our $30,000,000 salary cap.

pittsburgh would definitely want more and this could cause big cap issues depending on Guentzel's extension demands.

I seriously doubt it. He's a luxury piece and a player to put a team over the top. What's happening in Detroit is beyond nice but no way. Wings would have a miserable time signing him

For sure, I really think it will be between EDM, Vegas and Vancouver to see who lands him as they are all going all in and will be looking to prevent the other team from getting him

I honestly think Berggren is going to play a big role in keeping Detroit below the cap without having to sacrifice talent.

The Berggren trade rumors started when Berggren was called up incase Kane couldn't go. Now when Berggren got called up he had 6 goals and 10 assists. Berggren currently 16 goals and 22 assists. So since his return he has 12 goals and 12 assists.
