Tarasenko would be a pricy rental (unless they let Stamkos walj), and is the least likely of these moves. However, it's clear that Tampa needs a top 6 winger that can actually do something offensively 5v5, so Tank wouldn't be a bad option. Brisebous has also paid a high price for a rental near the top of their positional list before, so there is some precedent. If Tampa misses on Hanifin, this is a solid plan that improves the team in several areas for not only this season but also for several seasons to come, at least.

Both are likely to improve the team, as Walker is a versatile well rounded player who, unlike Chychrun, can play both sides well, and despite some injuries and having a rough year this season, Barabanov brings more than enough ability to be a top 6 scoring winger, or at least a high end middle 6 winger, at a likely affordable price.
