Expiring players on NHL roster trade status:

Kapanen: Hasn't done much this year that I think would be very enticing to other teams, but WOULD BE WILLING TO TRADE AWAY

Sundqvist: A fan favorite who plays Blues hockey I don't see why we shouldn't extend him after this season. DO NOT TRADE

Perunovich: Young and has lots of potential and we don't have much of a future in terms of defenceman. DO NOT TRADE

Scandella: Would totally be willing to trade but I don't think any team would want him. TRADE IF THERES AN OFFER

Alexandrov: Young player not much value but decent potential so DO NOT TRADE

Blais: I love him but he has not been great this year so not sure if we extend him so TRADE IF THERES AN OFFER

POTENTIAL TRADE TARGETS:
Would probably only look at trading Kapanen then going after that 2RW spot, and this isn't a huge need it depends on if ARMY wants to push for the playoffs, which wouldnt suprise me. Anyways my favorite options are:

Don’t see Tank coming back after that extended fiasco.

Also, not really too convinced there’s much of a reason to hold on to Perunovich or Alexandrov. Perunovich can’t be sheltered properly when we have Krug and Faulk as a pair. Alexandrov hasn’t really done anything to warrant making concessions to keep him around. Wouldn’t be all too surprised if he isn’t qualified.

Scandella will have some value. Not a lot. But a lot of teams like adding depth to the their backend in event of injury.

I made a similar team a few minutes ago. I think Kapanen and Scandella are traded. As for Alexandrov, if he were and NHL forward he would have made a difference on the team this year since the Blues have needed offense outside of the top line so desperately. It seems like Bolduc and Dean will be promoted and Army will have tools to make hockey trades.
