Minnesota will probably get a 4th rounder in next year’s draft.

Duhaime is only worth a 2nd rounder if he is paired with a 3rd or 2nd rounder in a trade

The trade deadline is on March 8 and Minnesota will trade Duhaime and Dewar to other teams for picks.

A 2nd-round pick may be a bit pricy, a 3rd feels a bit more realistic. Duhaime is a player many teams may value and covet though and a late second may be the highest bid.

Teams usually overpay at the deadline to get guys. If it were the summer, I'd agree. But it sounds like Duhaime has at least a few teams interested, so that inflates his value quite a bit. An old Nick Foligno got a 1st and 3rd. Greenway got a 2nd and 5th. Jeannot got a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th or something crazy. I'm not saying the Canucks pull the trigger, but someone likely will.
