Possibly but Pageau can too with how depleted the center market is, if you want to have the Isles throw in a 3rd or future 2nd then sure I'd still do it but Im not sure theyd have to

If pageau was a rental then it would be different. I don’t think alot of teams want a $5m 3C in the future

Plus I don’t even think Ottawa needs centers

You're right. Stutzle, Pinto, Grieg, Kastelic, Ostapchuk, and then the 13 games a year of Norris (plus Kelly and Giroux can play C). Pageau would be great to have back, but not for anywhere near $5mil/yr nor at the cost of a retained Tarasenko.
