Only getting Holloway, Broberg, and a 1st for a whole D pair AND to take on Campbell's contract is too low. You should be able to get more imo.

Thought process was Holloway to take Campbell and the 1st and Broberg for the D pair. Maybe it’s a hair low. Frankly I’d just take the buyout for the 6 years with the cap going up. Front office should easily manage until then.

So the Laughton deal is fine. The deal with the Oilers is way light. To buyout Campbell would add a min cap hit of $1.5m for the next 6 years. Holloway is interesting but hasn't proven anything at the NHL or AHL. I would say Peterson has to be going back in this deal and EDM would need to throw in more (especially if they aren't taking Peterson. The Krebs deal doesn't make a ton of sense to me, yes they want a project but I doubt they want to give up picks for him.

Sabres don't have a reason to move Krebs right now

I must be higher on Holloway and Broberg than you are. Think Holloway still projects as a Jordan Staal type. And Broberg is a big body that I think Torts and staff could turn pretty quickly. Krebs deal would be like the Newhook deal but slightly cheaper. Just Think they need to weaponize the cap space before the cap goes up so three A-/B+ assets is enough for me to eat Campbell.
