For a 3rd in 2024 or 2025 you can — you can’t bring him back for that

That's SO much for Boosh!!! It's not actually I guess, SDA has gone back to Russia and won't play in Toronto again (apparently) and Hirvonen is a guy that I really like but maybe the Leafs are okay giving him up in a deal like this. I think he has too much upside for this honestly.

I like the idea of bringing Boosh back, but I think it probably makes more sense for it to be like the 3rd and Rifai than the 5th and a better prospect who's closer like Hirvonen.

I feel like Boosh with retention for a 3rd and Rifai or Kokkonen is the trade that makes sense for both teams.

Not worth it for the Leafs. Boosh is a pending UFA, and although he threw a hit once in awhile. Didnt make a big difference. Minimal upgrade to even the worst D man the Leafs have. If they cared to get him, they could just do it in FA for free. He would not add enough to the team now to make a difference.

booshkin is worth one "future consideration", maybe 2 if 50% retained

Only Leafs fans could imagine 2 busts and a 5th fetches anything but more of the same.
