At this point Savard bring more to the team on ice and outside the ice over the value an late first round pick have. Now if there was an interesting forward prospect coming back Montreal would probably think about it.

i agree, and at the same time we have too many defenseman.

by elimination we remove, Guhle, Xhekaj, Struble ,Matheson and Savard as trade potential so that leave kovacevic, harris that could be use but again is that what the team want ? Kova could be a cheap depth player that team want to series playoff in case of injury and Harris is still young not sure to want to give up already on him but yeah team got so many Defense Prospect that at one moment they will need to make decision and move one or two D prospect to get Offense.

David Savard. This should tell you what he really thinks of Savard. If Brisebois really wants you he figures a way out.
