That’s simply not how goalie valuations exist in today’s NHL. Surely if you’re valuing him equivalent to a Hughes you’ll be offering him 10+ mill a year in free agency to keep him?

But nope, you talk about his trade value as this while not putting where your money where your mouth is to back it up?

Cory Schneider had a very similar profile to Swayman , except a touch older and better play. He got ONLY 9th overall
