I like Mike Green but the Ducks don't have the cap space for that contract. And since he'd be a one year rental I dought they give up a 1st rounder.

Trouba for Mantha.. that's interesting. I think WPG gets a little more.

If it only cost us Mantha to get Trouba, I'm pretty sure Trouba would be home in Detroit playing for is Hometown Red Wings. It's going to take far more then just Mantha to get Trouba to Detroit.

Not sure how much as i figure thats a pretty good deal for both sides maybe red wings send a second or a pick but otherwise its kind of a robbery

Mantha is not something the jets need. They are weakest on defense so if you are playing to trade for Trouba and the main piece is a forward prepare to over pay big time.

The rational still stands. He'd be a rental not worth a first rounder and the cap hit is too much..
