They’re actually playing way worse than they did in like December of whatever. Just getting the shooting luck they didn’t before. And saves.

I am not sure which team you are watching but the first 38 games they were scoring at 2.08 Goals/Games while surrending 2.71 Goals/Game.
The last 23 games they are scoring 3.04 Goals/Game and giving up only 2.17 goals per game.
That is more than shooting and SV %.
