Nope. I dont trust Kuzy.

Maybe if his contract was terminated and we picked him up for 800k, but not like this.

It is better for Washington's cap to trade him than bury him in the AHL, he's still under contract next season and the Rangers don't have the greatest cap situation in the world. If the Rangers bought out or traded Goodrow, picking up Kuz would cancel out the cap maneuvering.

This idea I like, let them buy him out in the offseason, make something like an incentive based offer near league minimum and see what happens, if he plays well thats great but if he struggles, doesn't hurt to send him to Hartford.

Im talking about him being sent to AHL, refusing to play for Hersey, Caps terminate his contract and we pick him up on the cheap for this year.

Gotcha, either way it would be something to consider, but I agree trading for him would be a mistake, even with max retention.
