I definitely wouldn't trade Guentzel for those scraps. I rather have one high-end piece than package like this.

I don't see teams lining up to trade a bluechip prospect plus picks for Guentzel, this package is more than what Horvat and Lindholm have gone for, both playing more of a premium position. Guentzel being hurt right now and being a ufa at the end of the season who clearly isn't going to re-sign with the pens diminishes quite a bit of his value. This package is on par for past top deadline targets. Your getting three good pieces in the 1st 2nd, and Räty. Two Solid pieces in Myino and Bains. and a guy Dubas loves in Mikheyev. Two of the prospects play more premium positions being Center and Defense, it help rounds a really depleted pens prospect pool. Scoring wingers value as a whole are down look at what Buffalo got for Reinhart a 1st and a decent prospect the market just isn't there for a huge package that involves a 1st and a bluechip prospect for a scoring winger. This package is hardly scraps and is on par for past deadline packages

I said top prospect + other prospects, i did not mention picks at all. Pittsburgh does not need those right now unless they're gonna blow this team up, which is not the case, it's only about this season being done. I'm not saying this offer is an insult (I should not use word "scraps" before), but I prefer to get something else.

This is hardly scraps, Räty and Myino are excellent prospects Bains is doing really well in the AHL this year and could become a middle 6 guy, plus with the 1st and 2nd involved you guys are getting atleast 3 Premium assets for a rental that plays a position that doesn't have the highest value, look at what Buffalo got for Reinhart the market just isn't there

Dubas doesnt want picks, He wants a quality prospects over quantity. We don't want Raty and Bains lol.

A Raty level prospect is probably the best you guys are going to get for him.
