Change the Caps' pick to the Florida one, and you're good.

Or the Caps' and Dumba at 50% for the first and Chadwick.

Trading a 1st in the 20’s for two likely mid/ late second rounders probably isn’t the greatest idea.

Also an overpay on Borgen IMO

So Arizona trades a top 5 pick for two mid second round picks? No chance.

And then we overpay and trade a first and our best defensive prospect for a 27 year old? How high were you when you made this?

None of these trades are "good". Arizona never makes that trade. The Leafs never make that trade.

It's Toronto's late first for the Caps second and the Toronto 2nd in 2025. Arizona is not trading their pick...

Either way they aren't trading a first round pick for two second round picks... regardless if it's late or not it still has more value then both second round picks combined because it's a first. If anything they'll use it to move up in the draft.

I think spreading out the asset is smarter when we don’t have any 2025 picks in the first 3 rounds
