For Pittsburgh to willingly give a division rival two good players that immediately fill their two biggest needs would require an overpayment. And this offer isn't even fair value from an out of division team.

I'll disagree on Jarry being off the table, but I think it's unlikely.
Problem being is that Vilen and Filmon aren't really valuable. Scott Wheeler's ranking last month listed them as NJD's 8th and 10th best prospects respectively, in a below average prospect pool.
A previous ACGM had Bahl and Holtz instead. If that's too much for the Devils, so be it. But Vilen and Filmon aren't enough.

I would certainly move Jarry for the right offer, but this ain't it.

Kallgren was AHL depth signing. Was never going to see NHL roster. Daws started year coming off surgery, many of us expected him out the whole year. Kinkaid was an insurance policy…didn’t play for our AHL team. Look at what happened in 2021-22…we dressed eight goalies.

Hard to replace Severson, Graves, Hamilton and Siegenthaler…and not block the two best defensive prospects in league going into season.

Hamilton and Sieghentaler weren’t injured at the start of the season when Graves And Severson left. Fitzgerald thought Miller would replace them and Nemec would do the same and he did. You still can’t expect your team to be competitive when two of your top4 dmen from the previous season are gone. it’s obvious.

If they are talking Holtz+1st for Markstrom, you can bet that's the price tag for Jarry. Adding Pettersson, we're talking Mercer or a package like Bahl, 1stl 2nd. I'd do Holtz, Bahl, 24 1st, 24 2nd, 25 2nd for MP and Jarry.
