Kinda funny that Leaf fans are down on 33 year old Brodie, who I admit might have hit the wall this season in the last year of the contract. So the answer is acquiring a 33 year old Jensen with two full seasons, who looks like he's hitting the wall too.

That's completely different, Nick Jensen is a RD which we need badly, and getting him at this cap hit for the this year and 2 more is way more valuable then Brodie at 5mill

Leafs fans have this fascination with RHD. 67% of players shoot left handed so for sure, some lefties are going to be playing on the right side. Gee when they went on seven game winning streak, the only righty was Liljegren. Loss of game to Vegas, and the cry is for a RHD at any cost.
Never hurt many Hall of Famers to play the right side when shooting left.
