I was big Holl fan when he was Leaf/Marlie. And he apparently a popular teammate . But geez he had stretches in the past two seasons where he just couldn't be an effective NHL skater which affected his overall play. I don't know how the Wings scouting missed it. Wish Holl well, but looks like he has hit the wall.

At half retained Holl would be almost making same money he did as a Leaf. 😉

I'm a big Yzerman fan but he really blew it with that Holl signing.
