Even though we keep telling you (OVER & OVER) that the Sabres are NOT moving him and that it doesn’t even make sense for u guys bc u can’t afford him under your Cap moving forward

2. Johansen has to go. That's $4 mil gone. If you get rid of Byram and Johansen and get Mittelstadt, that's an additional $5 million in cap. Mitts makes $2.5 mil. $5 mil more in cap allows for him to resign for $7.5 mil, which is more than he will actually sign for.

The situation changed for us
Mitts turned down Sabres contract offers & priced himself out of Buffalo, so we re-evaluated

Idk how the Avs are gonna fit Mitts next year though??
They’ve got their work cut out for themselves w the Cap
